Shooting Nasia Dionysiou for PIO felt less like recording an interview and more like trying to light the interior weather of a writer’s mind; the small tremors between memory and language, the salt of Cyprus, the weight of history, the strange mercy of beauty that insists on showing up even when it has no practical excuse. As Director of Photography, I tried to let the frame breathe around her words — to make space for silence, texture, shadow, and that delicate point where reality starts flirting with the dream. My sincere thanks to the Director CJ for the trust and guidance, and to Nasia Dionysiou for the generosity, depth, and quiet force of her presence.
